Biofertilizers:
Biofertilizers are a gift from
nature- a natural consortium of beneficial microorganisms such as bacteria,
fungi, algae, and cyanobacteria. These microorganisms form a harmonious relationship
with the plants, either by establishing symbiotic, or non-symbiotic associations
or by enhancing the nutrient dynamics within the soil. Their primary role is to
fix atmospheric nitrogen and make essential nutrients like phosphorus and
potassium available to the plants.
